National Cub Scout News
All Markets Delivery Method—Year A
Does this title pique your interest? Do you have any idea what it means? Well, Lee Shaw, senior business development specialist on the Community Alliances Team at the national office in Irving, Texas, will guide you through this relatively new delivery method the instant you click “download.”
Perseverance
If you’re a regular Cubcast listener (as you should be), you may remember Amy Von Culin from last year’s segment on Compassion. This time, the five-year Cub Scout day camp and Webleos resident camp program director joins us for a delightful discussion about how to engage the boys in fun activities to illustrate the June Core Value: Perseverance.
Spring Tiger Cub Recruiting
Lucia Cronin is an executive committee member of the Bay Lakes Council in Appleton, Wisconsin. She has been successful in both recruiting and, more importantly, retention. We’ve asked her to share her recipe for success right here on Cubcast.
Health and Fitness
The Cub Scout motto is “Do your best,” and the best way to accomplish that is to be healthy and fit. BSA National Commissioner Tico Perez joins us to explain the importance of this Core Value and how essential it is for our Cub Scouts to learn that early (without realizing that they are learning at all).
Cub Scout Planning Tools
Sssshhhh. If you promise to tell all the Cub leaders you know, Bill Evans will share with us the secret to Cub Leader success. It will make your Cub Leader experience a little easier, too. Bill is a Program Specialist on the Youth Development team at the National Office in Irving, TX and the secret will be revealed right here….on Cubcast.
